Consistent with the firm’s emphasis on
pro bono
, the summer program provides an extraordinary public interest opportunity. One second year summer associate who elects to spend a full summer with us will be eligible to participate in our Summer Public Interest Program. The student selected for this program will work at full salary for four weeks in the local offices of a public interest organization. Current participating organizations are the Public Defender Service, the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, and The Legal Aid Society for the District of Columbia.
