Recruiting  Law Students  The Hiring Committee
The Hiring Committee consists of four members: two Member-level attorneys, one Senior Associate or Counsel-level attorney, and the Attorney Recruiting Manager.

The Hiring Committee reviews the resumes and application materials of all qualified legal candidates to recommend candidates for screening interviews. A screening interview typically involves meeting with two attorneys, one of whom will be a Member.

After the screening interviews, the Hiring Committee reviews the interview evaluation forms, law school transcript, and writing sample evaluation and makes a recommendation on whether to proceed to full-round interviews. Candidates brought back for a full round of interviews can expect to interview with at least five attorneys, at least three of whom are likely to be Members. After full-round interviews, the Hiring Committee reviews the interview evaluation forms and complete file to determine if it will recommend that the candidate receive an offer of employment.

In the case of summer associates, the hiring process is similar except that screening interviews usually take place on campus. The Hiring Committee makes a recommendation as to whether a student should be invited back to our offices for full-round interviews.
